Yeah if your getting swarmed from multiple sides, I could see FPS view being a tad tough, though I'd probably like it for most levels.  Could probably even see parasites better, cause it's not as dark and you can see things at a distance better.

Alien Swarm

-The Vindicator’s grenade explosion effect should no longer crash users running a GTX260 graphics card.

-Fixed a bug where marines would continue to be buffed by the Damage Amp if they were standing in it when it expired.

-Fixed ammo usage on the Tesla Cannon to properly decrease 4 times a second instead of 2 (doubled clip size to account for this).

-Rebalanced Tesla Cannon’s damage to encourage it to be used more as a support weapon.

-Tesla Cannon will now use ammo slowly even when it isn’t damaging something.

-Fixed Unicode text chat

Alien Swarm Update
- Tesla Canon becomes pretty much useless

Weeeeeeeeeeeeell... Always liked the Dual SMGs anyway... (Anyone ever manage to get an accurate measurement on how fast they're reloaded with the 'quick reload'?)

I never liked using the tesla cannon because everyone used it and it was so fucking cheese.

"Hey, how about you use this gun that does no friendly fire, debuffs the aliens, chains shots (AoE), has tons of ammo, and does good damage all at the same time?"

The gun was always a support weapon in my eyes for weakinging entire swarms of aliens, but it was so good at what it did that no one used anything but. How is that fun? That's boring.
