You need webcammax, the movie in a format webcammax can read (.avi seems to work), some sort of streaming account, and need to get the sound set up correctly. I can't help out with the sound because every time someone's asked me how to set up it's different.

While by all means I think the "dirtying my hands" and "...vile un-yiffable film..."comments are a bit silly, at least Karth is not so possessive that he's staked a claim to his event and told everyone to suck it. I mean, he's offered to teach people how to host (on numerous occasions as I recall) and even offered event night up on a silver platter to anyone who wants to show a movie of their choosing. That should be the end of TGP in this thread.


Be a bit more reasonable with why you poke and prod, I happen to think Karth brings a lot to the community. I don't like half of you nearly as much as you deserve, and the other half I don't hate nearly enough; but Karth, I really like Karth, you guys should lay off at least he does stuff for the community, if it were all left to me and I had more admin I would have banned dozens of regulars by now.

The guy doesn't want to screen the movie.  Last I checked, he does a hell of a lot for nothing in return (not even praise, from what I can pick up from this thread a page back).  He runs the events, so he has the final say.  He's nice enough to let the community have a say in what they'd like to see, but he SHOULD be able to say "no" when he's not interested (everything being considered).  Why should he go through all the trouble and hassle for something he has zero interest in supporting?  Age has nothing to do with this.  Infact, he's acting more mature in all of this than what I'm seeing from the other side.

I'm with Karth on this one.

Even though that movie is so bad it's good, i think it misses the point of a Rifftrack (i think that's who you type it) since you can't say anything funny or smart enough besides "lool blood". It kinda misses the whole idea of "Weekly movie night". That doesn't mean we can't do this outside the normal schedule, but doing something that doesn't go with the idea might ruin the name and create a wrong image of what was planned by Karth in the beggining.
