so i was playing KoL last night and i used up all my adventures at 3 AM thinking it was still thursday

When I left my ex, I thought I took all I needed, all I wanted, and all I cared for in a material possession. I knew I packed light, I left many many many things behind, but I thought I had the essentials. The things that meant something to me. I just realized, I forgot something terribly important...


I had a box full of duct tape. Skinny width, fat. Shiny, Black, Classic. Some rolls with little left, some rolls still shrinkwrapped, at least one roll that I stared before 1996. I never before now realized how much duct tape means to me.

I can understand rummy, I knew a guy who collected duct-tape.  It might seem like nothing but stuff we collect will always hold a sentimental value to us.

So my old as fuck house has a pump water in the return line for our air conditioning unit.  Well, the pump broke, spilling a good amount of water in our basement, which we had to mop up, then shut off the ac to stop the leaking water.  Fuck, not how I wanted to spend my first day off this week

Look on the bright side, if you didn't have the day off it would have been even shittier.

I'm kinda worried about one of my friends. I haven't heard from her in a month or so.

Although she said she was trying to get a job, when I last IMed her, she was talking about how much she hadn't seen her boyfriend, and how much they don't talk as much as they used to. She's somewhat emotional and she's been fighting depression, and her not smoking weed anymore is not making it easy.

• Roomates decided to go see inception without me while I worked last night despite me being the one who showed interest in seeing it and them saying "No" to wanting to watch on the weekends (due to price)
  
  
• Tried to go to a M:TG casual play thing going on at some geekdom store 10 minutes away today. Showed up, asked about it, turns out no one goes to those things so I ended up walking out the door a minute later. So much for actually getting to play something I've been interested in getting into for years again
  
  
• I've still yet to buy furniture for my room because my sis (the only one who has a truck to carry furniture in, and can drive it) works and/or schools pretty much 7 days a week. Sundays are the only days she has off.. but go figure she went to pick up a shift for the day (and I work at 5 till midnight).
  
  
• The Outdoor Adventure Club (lol gay name) I decided to join a month back I've yet to actually do anything with because they have all their smaller events taking place during weekends (which I obviously work), and I still need to find somewhere to actually get a used kayak. My only chance to do anything with them this summer is a week long trip in mid august going to a place I've already been to before and will most likely be filled with middleaged people
  
  
• I really have been wanting to learn to properly draw and get a passion for it (right now I struggle with it so much it's more frustraiting than relaxing to me). Even bought a book on it. Too bad I've been so completely drained of inspiration or drive this summer that I've not really completed any exercises from the book and don't feel a need to.
  
  
• And now here I am sitting at my computer thinking how much this summer fucking sucks and how it feels like the entire world is out to prevent me from doing the things I want to do, get involved with, get to know, etc. while venting once again to the fine folks at BRB.u
  
  

Worst part about it is I know I won't do well in my "ending" design classes at school next september if I continue feeling completely defeated because I won't be as passionate and inspired as my classmates will be (who mind you have been doing this stuff since they were young while I have not)

I found the perfect solution to this problem. I met a girl who wants to train me so we can run a 5k together. Motivation is a wonderful thing. I just hope the weather decides to stop being 100+ degrees in the near future.

My Steam account is now gone. No more playing TF2 or Alien Swarm and so on.
It was hacked/stolen and I foolishly blame myself for it.

I got a link to a legit looking Steam site, went to it and input my account name and password to get in and the account no longer works, likely it was stolen.
If someone sends you this link, "herp://steammvalve.tk/free" DO NOT put your info in it. (The site is ok, just don't put info in)
If I, for some reason, talk to any of you over steam it's NOT me, just in case.

If you know anything that could help me out, I would be most thankful.
