Oh, so anyways. Just found a truly epic cave. Traveled down to hell itself. FWI, hell is plauged by slimes.

I traveled down this huge shaft and went to a passage that lead to just a river of lava. I decided to try and cross it using dirt and sand and found this wall of slimes blocking the other side of the river. Anyways, a couple hours and countless slime deaths later, here's my grand total.

• 83 Steel
  
• 18 Diamonds
  
• 27 Gold
  
• 361 Redstone Dust
  
• 6 Obsidian
  
• 32 Slime Balls
  
• 14 Flint
  
• 4 Buckets of Lava
  
• 11 Gunpowder
  

Made a full set of diamond tools and full steel armor. Also, on my journey back to the surface, I swear the mob spawner (Minecraft version of the director?) tried everything in his power to kill me. I carved through several walls of slimes, and when I finally got back up the shaft, had to get past 6 creepers WHO ATTACKED IN PAIRS!

I finally get to the surface at night... first thing I see after jumping out of that hole.

So for those who don't yet, Valve just told you this game is awesome. The company that fed you L4D/2, TF2 and HL2 told you you should buy Minecraft. Perhaps.... you should....        comply?

At this point I'm pretty sure Valve wants Minecraft on their service, and maybe they actually do want to do some TF2 related bonuses. Oh, games industry.

I want my durp-sheep hat for the medic, cow hat for heavy, spider hat for scout, creeper hat for demo/spy, skelli hat for sniper, zombie hat for soldier, and.... a slime hat for the pyro.

He said he actually wants to add Minecraft to steam eventually actually. That was probably a request to put up a pre-order deal for Minecraft on steam. Good news about this is that duck and nitrous would be able to buy it then.

I finally managed to convince the online thing to accept my card so I'm good

So, interesting use for cactus. In a base, make a hole 3 blocks deep. Place sand at the bottom, then cut away one block in each direction in one layer so there's a + shape. Plant the cactus on the sand (cactuses can't be placed directly adjacent to any blocks), then place a half-block surrounding the hole.

Cactus powered garbage shoot. Destroys anything you throw in there.
