(clickable) Installed this system yesterday. It's pretty bad ass. can get my windows to shake when i turn it up ;D Best feature is its DLNA certified.. meaning i can stream content from PC to it.. and plays all current formats like DIVX, XVID, AVCHD, MKV. USB port on the front for playing from portable HDD, or thumb drive. Got my xbox pumping in through there as well. 8) |

I considered this as well but at the moment, all the basic phones available to me are quite shit. I checked out the reviews for the ones I'm interested in and supposedly they are terrabad... I'm not sure if it's all true because, of course, when you're looking for reports of something bad online you find them and it's hard to judge how many good reports also exist. But most of the reports had some very similar issues that consistently popped up and that were pretty fatal to the use of the phone, so... we'll see. My mom has one of the phones I was interested in and we'll see how she likes it, although she barely uses it. In the worst case I suppose I should listen to HeK and just keep using my current one. It's not bad, still in decent shape, and I could likely get a cheaper contract (yeah, right) with it. |

I put like... $25 in it every 2-3 months. The phone was about $30. Very very useful to have in emergencies, or if you get lost, or have a question etc. I don't use my phone all that much but it's useful to have on me |

Then it just has to last long enough until your contract allows you to get a new phone, which is maybe once every 2 years. Or you can get a basic pay-as-you-go phone that you pay $20 for initially and can add minutes whenever you like, until it breaks. Then you shell out another $20. |

My job continues to go well. And surprisingly, the construction is still on schedule for the new store that I'll be working in. The date we get in to start training is still tentatively set for the beginning of September, barring any issues.
Also, I'm pretty good *Revolver Ocelot* with the customer service aspects of the job. Working for a grocery store kitchen is so much fucking better for me than a regular restaurant. I think I need that customer interaction. And I'll be getting so much more of it at the new store, since we're going to have so much more stuff, and people will be coming to us (the cooks and stuff) with questions because we'll be the food experts for the store. We're the ones that need to know how to do things, what to recommend... a whole ton of stuff, and I can't wait for it. |

I don't know. My first cell was like that and while it worked well at first, I didn't like it as time went on. It got to be a little too big of a hassle to deal with over time. But I'm likely just twiddling my thumbs over a good suggestion. I'll need a little time to push myself into it, if I decided to go that way again. |

For me, $25 covers about 160 minutes of talking (10c per text/etc). It's a shit deal if you use your phone a lot but for me who only uses it on occasion and sometimes for my job, that $25 covers about 2-3 months before I'll run out and need to refill (should I choose to, which I do). |
