Aww man, moved into my new place.  It's not as nice as I thought it was initially, but I can make it home.  Saw my grandmas on both sides of the family, got to Rush at Red Rocks (it was fucking amazing!!!  Nothing like singing along to limelight with the rest of the crowd, and their instrumental bits are almost orgasmic in concert) and now all my friends are starting to trickle back into town for college.

I got the original Half-Life with expansions yesterday and have started playing it for the first time Don't blame me too much for the lateness, my parents are the sort that wouldn't allow me to play these sorts of games until I'm 15. I like the control, comfort, roominess and peace I get from apartment life but I wish at the same time I could have the dorm-mate friends you'll get, and the crazy spontanious "get out there and live" fun that dorm life offers.

Takes a lot more effort to do the same when you are "settled down" in an apartment fresh out of the high school living-under-parents situation, at least in my perspective.
