Yeah, that's what he does besides playing.  It's not like he's a loser. He's a well known comercial engineer and was the Vice president of the biggest mall franchise in Chile.

Unfortunately, the company was bought and he lost his position. And as he says, having a strong resume is great. But having a strong resume such as his tends to intimidate other companies. I still can't figure out why, but almost 2 years without a job can proove it, i guess :/.

During the interview if they ask questions about "why do you want to take a step down" then he'll have to make up some excuse about branching his interestests and other etc bullshit like that. So, there's a large TV network near where I live and some asshole protester decided he wanted attention, so he took some hostages and now the roads and the Metro around where I live are all fucked up. I hop on the Metro to go back home and I get stuck in the tunnel for :20 min during rush hour because there's a "sick passenger" 3 stops away, Delay #1.
I switch lines and I get a phone call. The phone call was a recruitment manager at a job I'm applying for making a surprise call, the train hits a dead zone and the phone disconnects. I immediately get off at the next stop and try to call back, automated system, FUCK, delay #2.

Get back on the train, still got a situation near my apartment, delay#3.

I left a phone message and sent an e-mail to the person who called :40 min later after I got back to my apartment. I don't think a dropped call is going to hurt my chances... but still FUCK.

Update: Police killed the guy, hostages are safe. The guy was off his rocker, but it's sad to see it end that way, fuck...

If you are calling her your "girlfriend," then tell the GF of your invitation. Period.

She will either be interested, or disinterested. Regardless of her interest/disinterest, invite her along. Try to coax her. She will either be cool, or not. Either way, you relieve your guilt, and find out whether you and her can take it to the next level.
