Warriors with their sword drawn will usually be in a stance, instead of standing stiffly.
Try giving him a heroic poooose. Edit: I love the waist-guards.

Edit: If you want him in an idle position then I would lower the sword, it just looks awkward in my opinion for his sword to be at ready but the rest of him not. But its art you can do whatever and no ones gonna stop you.

Sponson! I've got a challenge for you!
Well, not really a challenge, but i just thought of this and i want to see if you're really talented to do it (which i'm betting you are :-*) The thing is, everytimei watch your art with characters (not realistic people) you tend to have a slight influence on Animu/Mango whatever, so i really want to see how you manage to draw a character without those influences, so, here's my challenge Draw me a Superman. Try to do it trying to make it look the least Animu/mango looking possible (if it still has some traces, i don't care, i know influences are really tough to get over). Remember i'm asking for a comic-looking Superman, not one of those Alex Ross hiper realistic models. There's my challenge, it's up to you if you want to take it or not ;D |

My first thought was Pirate Bay, but very cool, I like the colors, very vibrant and they blend together well
