think i had a piercing headache for like 6 hours straight and i couldn't stop my hands from shaking. i think i almost passed out near the end of the night for some reason.
we could have used 5 people all night and we were rolling with 3 for most of the night
then the fucking piece of shit ice cream pump started leaking all over the fucking floor
i don't fucking understand how our owner thinks that the fucking piece of shit equipment we have that keeps breaking down is saving him money when it hinders our ability to actually serve the food

christ we have a deep fryer that only has one of the 3 tubs that heat up

i can't wait til i get a career started so i can get the fuck out of this hell

someone hook me up with an IT job i'm willing to relocate

Today I got a wonderfully swift rejection from a company I spent more than 12 hours applying for, researching, and commuting to for my interview yesterday.

I am quite angry at you, large company which shall remain nameless!

Yeah, the Feds have this habit of mailing me a rejection letter 6+ months after I apply for a job and forget

I'm now realizing I don't get paid enough for doing the job I'm doing, along with dealing with the self-centered idiots, "barely-there" assholes, and of course the self-pitying drunks that it comes with.

My dad had a grand mal seizure last night. Doctors aren't sure whether its caused by the current (experimental) cancer treatment directly or possibly just a side effect of reabsorbing the dead tissue from the brain tumors they hit with radiation a little while back, but it's some scary shit. His vitals were fine when he went to the hospital, and they didn't see anything wrong with his brain when they did a CT and an MRI, so they released him and he's home now.

On a sad but amusing note, the anti-seizure meds they have him on are causing him to slur his speech. Which makes him sound like a stroke patient (or a drunk), which isn't cool, but makes his NY accent pop out a little more, which I find hilarious. He hasn't lived there in 30+ years.
