Yeah, I thought that was just me.  And it was hard to guage because in the middle of it (like late 2008 early 2009 IIRC) I upgraded to a dual core, but a few months ago my dual core broke and suddenly (with my single core again) I can barely snipe 'cause I lag so hard.


So was APB good while it lasted?

To make a long story short, not really. There were griefers everywhere (not that I should have the pleasure of complaining), the system was super unbalanced, the matchmaking system simply did not work, lots of hackers with no effort of implementing some sort of anti-cheat, terribly unoptimized performance, almost no support for the community, patches that should've been out a day after launch (not that they fixed anything important anyways), and missions that just weren't fun.

The game could be fun, but man the other 80% of the time it was completely infuriating.
