So, my PC was running oddly again, and I went to reboot. PC didn't boot, I unplugged all my USB stuffs (Short of my Keyboard) and tried to boot again, no luck. After several more tries I go to boot my PC in safe-mode and as it lists off the assorted .sys things (Many that I don't recognize..) it hangs on "crcdisk.sys"
Last time I saw this, my PC didn't ever want to boot again, I had to format. So while I was on the other PC (It's a piece of junk, it struggles to play the original starcraft..) confirming my fears that it was the same error as last time, my PC managed to boot. My limited technical know-how tells me that the many .sys things that look like they don't belong, damn well might belong but some probably don't. Is there a way for me to get a list of these things other than booting in safe-mode and trying to write them all down? After getting said list, what ones do I need? What should I get rid of? What are viruses? o.=.O Needless to say, my PC is (Again, Again) (Sorta) fucked up. |
