I know I want this game but I don't have a PS3 yet... you think they are going to have a bundle... Japan and UK have one already  :'( .

I am planing a revamp of my 10 year old entertainment center in anticipation for this bad boy!

I normally find racing games or simulators monotonous or uninteresting but I've always had a place in my heart for the Gran Turismo games. Just didn't feel like paying for Prologue though :\

I never played prologue but I couldn't justify paying for a preview of a game, rather stick it out and pay full dollar for the true work of art to come!

It's supposedly finally coming out. When they announced 3D at E3 I had called that like 3 months in advance. However, I fucking despise the developers now because they're egotistical assholes and this has been something toted ever since the PS3 came out basically and it's been 4 years since then, and has obviously probably been in development much longer than that. So in other words, I stopped giving a shit and aren't buying it. And I played GT5 Prologue since it came in used at the store I work at and it was a HUNK OF SHIT and didn't make me want the game at all.

Same with any other game line up like call of duty series vs ARMA series one is a game and the other is a simulator.

yes, but with stuff like forza allowing you to adjust the sliders to make it either all arcade racer or 100% simulator, there's no point to release just a simulator game.

Here is the post about the delay in case anyone missed it. Seems it was delayed since the game wasn't getting enough fps with weather effects and such enabled.

Should be getting a G27 and playseat this weekend! Still wrapping up tv/speaker setup with mah new setup. Till then I think it will be Dirt 2 and maybe some other racing games lol

I assume the actual reason for the delay is so that they could wait until the latest PS3 firmware came out. That way, they could make it required to run the game, and since PS3 piracy is now possible, they want users on their new firmware stat.

I actually just got a [url=http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/HpSjBS-jaT2IPbSOj4khS0_bDvTz8Us4QyH-18hXPhM?feat=directlink]new setup and one of the items in this upgrade was a playseat and a g27 so far on Dirt 2 it has melted face and rocked. can't wait to see how 3D GT5 will looks on it.

I still cannot get the hang of the 360 wheel in Dirt1/2. Most of it is form lacking a table of the proper hight and using it on my lap.

Perhaps I'll borrow one of our spare Sparco buckets and fab up a frame for it.
