[/quote]they're pretty heavily washed with a mixture of black wash & glaze medium, the flash washes them out a little more so they don't look shaded at all. I like how they look right now, but I may dip a test mini. That's how I was planning on painting them in the first place, actually, but I was painting them for a speedpainting competition and you can't paint details after you dip because your mini's coated in polyeurethane :/

<3, no you're not, it was a valid suggestion. If I hadn't been trying to 3-color them to get them 'complete' for the competition and then go back for deatils later, I totally would've dipped them. I may still on some of them, but I'll probably leave it since I want them all painted the same.

He's actually kind of got you there, Sponson. Smut does not necessarily equal art, and yet the human form in any engagement can be artful. Do you see the difference?

Yes there are a lot of people who like what you do, but it won't be art to everyone. Not everyone is going to enjoy it on the same levels and not everyone will consider it artful, despite being a nude.
