trees are gay because they drop leaves all over your lawn

also my aunt has a sequoia that is currently uplifting the foundation of their house

Considering the Sequoia's age, sounds like the tree's got a house in the way rather than the other way around.

I can't open the window because pollen gets in and i'm allergic (must use a paper mask when going outside on spring). Can't close the window because it's like 30°c and i'll melt.

The former blows. Did anyone sense it coming?

He was kept under observation under mental health professionals earlier this week. He's had a bunch of time off for 'stress' leave.
My co-workers took it as a surprise. As you can imagine, we have a disproportionate number of suicide prevention-trained personnel vs normal workplaces.

Professionally, he's always been an ass and slacked off heavily. We were seriously looking to fire him (hard to do in public service).
It's weird when someone you personally don't like kills himself.

I kinda feel bad for my previous attitude towards him....

Well HeK all you can do now is respect him in his passing, regardless of how you felt about him in life.  It's not your fault he killed himself, if he did things to make him unlikable then it's only fair you didn't like him.  Feeling bad about something like that will only lead to bad feelings or stupid regrets for something you didn't see or could not prevent.

This is exactly the conclusion that I have come to.

That's usually a contributing factor for why people do it. They can't get the emotional reaction from people they want in life, so they try to affect them in death.

It still blows, as even if he is an unlikeable ass the drama he created is selfish and makes things awkward for everyone else.

Sorry, dude.

Nice. It's probably not going to be too long until we replace our macbook, and possibly our imac. They're getting a little old.
