However...I've noticed lately that after playing this game hardcore for like, a week, that my FPS skills have seriously relapsed.

I just use VATS, gamebyro makes for a pretty bad FPS engine  :-\

I love when you have 100 skill in a weapon type and it can still take like 10 headshots or more for some of the higher leveled enemies

I'm sure that's when the alternate bullet types come in.  I never really fiddled with that, but I'm sure armor piercing would be great on a number of enemies lol

Yeah, armor piercing makes super mutants/deathclaws much easier.  Also overcharge/max charge energy cells.

i just installed a mod to make headshots instant kills and cranked it up to very hard, everything (including you) dies in one or two hits, it's intense yo

yeah armor piercing rapes, deathclaws (on normal) go down in a headshot and a bodyshot from the anti-materiel rifle

think it happens if they ever get hit by a called shot to their weapon, it flies off. i found my unique gauss rifle like 200 miles away from where arcade lost it, with no condition left

oh also never save in a place with lots of respawning enemies, i saved in a cazador nest and when i loaded they all respawned
