My desktop I use while my laptop has no AC adapter uses a wireless USB adapter for internet (no wires in this house at all). The actual jack connection is loose (I took the casing off before I got plastered). I just bent it, and it's working, which is a good sign. Soldering it should fix it. @_@

Also Friday night owns.

[/quote]Yeah. I wasn't in a fight or anything cool like that, i just lost my footing on some pavement. Hit my knee (and cut a good chunk of skin off), then my hands (which both got scrapes, and that's when i hurt my left wrist), and finally hit my back on a curb which gave me another cut. The cuts are all superficial and will heal, and thank god I didn't hit my head at the speed I was running.
Wrist is probably fractured at the growth plate. They couldn't tell for sure at the clinic, but I'm going to an ortho tomorrow who should be able to tell.
Either way I'm out of rowing for a while though, which means I have to miss the last race of the season this weekend. :\

I've been off work since Oct 16th, still haven't gotten my sick benefits, and my doctor(s) are still unsure what is wrong with me. As of right now the leading guess is a hernia behind my left side ribs pressing on my left lung and part of my stomach cause I get winded doing anything and my stomach hurts like a mother fucker half of the damn day it seems.... All I know is I have medical notes saying I'm off indefinably and meet a surgeon on January 3rd... fml oui?

I've had multiple xrays, blood work and ultrasounds so far. They are waiting for the surgeon to order the next round of tests and darn right Jan is quite the ways away.

I've stayed in hotels 137 nights for work so far this year. That doesn't count time in hotels for fun (another 12-16ish). That means that if I don't travel again before the end of the year (unlikely), I'll still have been on the road more than 50% of the working days this year (260). Fuck that.

My job title's Automation Engineer. I program industrial control systems, for the most part. And my company isn't, but I know one of my clients is. Trouble for you is, they're looking for someone who has the training I have, and there are only 2-3 dozen of us in the US. Trouble for me is, they're in Baltimore and I don't want to move again :/

How do you fucking strip a stainless steel torx screw?
