Yes, i know asking this is silly, but i've googled already and i'm not sure if it is possible.
I have a LCD screen, but it's got a VGA entrance only, so no fancy component or RCA entrances. Sometimes, i feel like playing Xbox or SNES on my PC monitor because the TV is being used or whatever, but i don't know if it is possible. Are there any cheap adapters on the market? All i've found are the other way, to connect a laptop to a TV, but not otherwise. Thanks |

Something like this converts composite and S-video to VGA. Just remember this is kind of dated technology. I have used this box actually before at work, just don't have high expectations for it. Just remember that VGA is only video a video signal so you will need to output your sound to another source.
If you willing to spend that money I would suggest saving it up and maybe upgrading to a monitor/tv combo. Or a monitor that has a hdmi/component input

To connect my Wii, I ordered an "HDBOXPRO" from Hong kong. It took a month to arrive but it converts a component signal to VGA.

i had a really shitty box that connected rca to vga, but it fucked with the resolution. It was the only way i could have played the ps2 my friend had lent me, and it was the best solution at the time but it was by far the best solution.
