a little late, but I've been kind of busy.  So, I was so drunk last night, I think I was drunk this morning.  At 7 am when I left the hotel I could barely walk straight, at 9am I was literally sprinting with loaded M4 and M9 through Close Quarters Marksmanship lanes. 

I put two 5.56 rounds through a hostage silhouette's head at 30 meters.  We all laughed.   

My life is awesome sometimes.

college buddy's wedding last night... we started drinking for it on Thursday night...

afterward the reception hall kicked us out, we went to a bar (including the bride and groom).  I wore my dress blues to the wedding, when I walked into the bar, a Vietnam Era Sergeant (he was a combat engineer too- one of my people!  fucking awesome) called the bar to attention and gave me the greeting of the day.
