Planetside Resub Event - Saturday 3/5

My current pc will crash, hard, in planetside.   It can happen anywhere from 1 minute of game play, up to an hour.   I've done everything that I can think of and of course, this is the only game that I have a problem with.     I have to hard reboot everytime it happens and it pisses me off to no end.   Don't think i'll be making the return.

Are you on Win 7 or Vista?

yes Johnny,  I'm using win 7.  I think the issue lies with a setting within my graphic's card.  GTX 285.      I've done it all.

Ive not tried it since upgrading to Win7, but i have a GTX280, I hope I wont have a problem.....

I resubbed last night. Runs on my system fine, I suspect a driver or hardware problem for Goffin. I can mail you a possibly sketchy 8600GTS if you think it'll help, though.

Ha, no worries atom but thanks for the offer.  It has to be driver related since planetside is thee only game I have an issue with.  I run tf2, COD, mech warrior (crysis mod) and just downloaded dead space perfectly fine at max settings with no issue's.  I fire up that planetside turd and pow,  I get usually a green or pink solid screen with audio looping and the only fix is to hard boot.    If I was having this issue with planetside next,  I would build another rig entirely for that game cause i'm silly like that.    Planetside just doesn't give me the desire to weed out the issue  lol.  waste of time.
