Web Hosting

I've been assigned the task of creating a website for my ultimate team even though I am in no shape or form a comp sci major. We would like our own domain name so I was wondering if you guys can suggest some good web hosting providers?

Or better yet, if someone can decipher what this guy's talking about:

(We have the password he speaks of and all we want is to un-redirect the site, but we're challenged and don't know how to do it)

So the UW site is what needs to be undirected?


If you log into the control panel of the UW site/URL, you should be able to tell it where to point.

A domain name is just an address that points somewhere, what the guy seems to want to do is host the club directly on UW's servers rather than someplace off site. Which is what you are currently doing.

Ok thanks, I'll try that as soon as I can get on the http://ultimate.rso.wisc.edu website as it's currently "unavailable" at the moment. IT worked earlier..hmm..
