My roomie and I went out at 1AM today to marvel the snow. It's was great, we climbed trees and jumped into giant snow piles...and got stuck.
The deepest pile of snow I found actually went up to my waist

Just some farm pictures.

Here is a picture of my brother and dad stacking wood in the porch for the wood stove.

And here's my brother stacking some by himself. It's hard to tell but his head almost touches the roof in the porch.

My nieces are enjoying the snow hill in the back yard, just like I used to. I wish I had snow pants, I'd be all over that shit. As it is I got kinda stuck when I fell in... with my runners on. Thankfully I had the camera.

And here's the sun porch all covered up so we can sleep inside. It may be below zero outside at night, but we are quite comfortable in there too.


And here's the fence in the back yard, with my niece hanging out on top. The snow behind it is about half way up.... that's about an eight or nine foot fence.

BTW, the whole farm thing kind of explains HeK's Subaru/rally thing. There's two Indian ("native american") brothers here in Maine that are both involved in rallying. They grew up with essentially free-reign over the reservation roads from what I've heard.

Correct. I grew up on the farm, but HeK grew up in the city. When we first started dating he didn't really like coming out here too much, I don't think he was used to it. But now he seems to like it well enough. He got into cars a little after we started dating which I think helped.

And my black pinstripe suit has a nice vest with it I'm wearing that one for St-Valentines'
