Even though I'm not single, I refuse to celebrate 'we need a chocolate and card sales boost' day. Luckily I have a great girlfriend who thinks the same way. I'd rather celebrate a day that's actually special for us.

We were going to go out for dinner, but we ended up staying in, ordering chinese, and watching movies until about 5 am...(I work at 8 am lol)
I gave her her gifts about 2 weeks ago, and she's saving my 'other 2' for tomorrow, Friday, or Saturday...whenever I see her next. I'm hoping tomorrow!  And then, well, the other thing was already posted in the "This made my day" thread 8) Too hip for gangsters and too gangster for hipsters. |

Because humans are greedy and malevolent by nature and we need the capitalistic encouragement of Valentine's Day to remind people to act in a decent manner towards each other by bestowing upon people a plethora of chocolates and flowers bought from the corner store at the last minute because you always forget what day this bloody holiday's on.
