Gonna roll Templar my first playthrough and be a goody two shoes, second playthrough gonna be a rogue of some kind, and be a sarcastic ass.
Shame it's a 60 dollar game though. Thanks EA. HULKMANIA'S RUNNIN' WILD, BROTHER! |

Played the demo, looked like a pretty good time. Going to wait till it's on sale for $30 before I buy it though.

I LOVED Dragon Age: Origins (pre-Ordered on STEAM, later bought it on Xbox as well), but I'm holding off on DA2. Â I really hated the faster combat in the demo and the new look of the game in general (and no origin stories//only one race to pick). Â Plus they jacked the price up to $60 on PC. Â I'll wait out for the ultimate edition on this one.
Witcher 2 will definitely get a pre-order from me though (when it's closer to release). |

I actually liked it enough, so I pre-ordered the damn game.
I might do a review for BRB.U if I feel like it. |

Playing dragon age origins right now since i can only afford a game once it's sequel comes out.
A lot of stuff about the game just bugs the shit out of me (took like an hour of game play before i had my first fight, it never tells you what the items you get from theft or conversation actually are so you have to search through your inventory like a jackass, even though you can take any route you want through the main quests the difficulty is scaled in such a way that only one route isn't retardly difficult combat wise, npcs bug you to buy DLC) but apparently i've played enough in the past week that my thumbs no longer work today. Mostly though, i think that open ended rpgs like dragon age, and to a much lesser extent mass effect, have the exact opposite effect on me than they intend. instead of feeling closer to my character and his companions, i never connect to that characters at all and end up choosing all my actions based on what kind of character bonus i can elicit with strong approval ratings. At the very least i'm glad the main character has a voice in dragon age 2. |

I got it for PS3 and I am really enjoying it, the fact that they moved away from auto attack makes the action feel more frenetic and the story is pretty good. I like that it is a smaller story.

Basically it's been Mass Effected. I got bored halfway into Origins and Mass effect. I loved Mass Effect 2 and like DA2 a lot better so far. I think it just depends on how you feel about them changing up a game a lot. |

So far, so easy :|
But that's on normal and I only had one truly hard boss fight against a giant spider. I'm digging the graphics, combat looks, and the general story along with some of the cast of characters (aka the return of Sandal). It does have some of the old Baulder's Gate tactical feel to it, but it is Mass Effectize, which is more of a double edge sword. On one hand, it is faster and more engaging. On the other hand, it is less tactical and less enjoyable due to the easiness. Not going to get my nomination of game of the year, but it's still fun for me and that all it matters. |
