Tetris online? Gee, that sounds... actually that *does* sound fun

Until you get paired with a bunch of people in Japan who do nothing but play Tetris all day. Five second matches.

Or you get paired with Triforce Gamemaster, the first person in line for the 3DS launch in NYC. Who's only good at Tetris DS because it features the silly items in it. also gigantic douche in general, runs a gaming "team" and runs tournaments that he stacks with his own players so that he can pay the rent for the building that they train in. also has a banana dick, since he was involved with a cybering incident that got posted on the internet.

I was pretty much laughing at him the whole time I watched that video, but doing what you like is cool I guess. He still seemed like a total douche.

[/quote]He is a total douche. He runs a gaming team and most of them live or might as well live in the apartment he rents out that he can ever barely afford rent for. This is in a shitty neighborhood in Brooklyn. He wears a power glove at almost all of his public appearances. He makes his team members make silly YouTube videos like they're acting episodes out of an anime. Penis pic on the internet, cyberlog where he calls eating a girl out like taking a drink from the bowl of soul. And shady business in general.

I might consider picking one of these up thanks to some extra cash I got recently.

I traded enough stuff in at Gamestop to be getting the 3DS and SF4 for just over $100.

Nice! I should try and do that...

How much did you trade in?

1 DS Game, 3 360 games, 1 Wii Game, and 3 or 4 cruddy gamecube games and my DSi.

the most I got was 39.20 for COD: BlackOps and 32.20 for Mario Galaxy 2. The rest were 4 and 5 dollars.

I might try and take some more stuff in to knock it down more.

Nice! You should save a couple trade ins for when more 3ds games come out

Maybe. I'm taking a bus to Canada in early June so I will need some games to play.

Pretty much everyone at the launch here bought SSF4. Way to go Capcom. They also have an unannounced title for 3DS that's supposed to make waves when its announced at Captivate in a couple weeks.

I was holding off, then I found out that the new Ghost Recon 3DS is a turn-based tactical game made by the lead designer of X-Fucking-Com. SOLD.

Picked up my aqua blue system and Steel Diver last night, Steel Diver is an interesting game, not super amazing 3D, but it's fun and seems like it can keep my interest for a bit. Other than that, I might rerun through Super Mario 64DS with an analog stick this time.

I'm not waiting for a "Lite" version (i love bulky consoles. The normal DS is the most comfy for me), but for better games.

I'm not saying that the ports are worthless or something like that, i have no doubt they're done very well. Thing is i'm not really into ports. The only thing i would tolerate is SSFIV3D, but ONLY if they fixed the flaws the console version had (which are a lot).

Kid Icarus is tempting, since i loved Sin & Punishment, but again, 1 game for a console ins't worth it. Maybe in a couple years when they release something like a Pokemon or a Smash Bros (PLEASE DO). Or some nice third party games.
