you don't need to keep them idled, i think you only need to start them up once and it adds it to the counter.

[/quote]We're either getting it tomorrow or Monday. I think Valve may have overestimated the amount of people that would actually help in unlocking it and may scale it to require less time.

There's a guy in one of the ARG irc channels who wrote the javascript code that I posted in here (which is now an add-on for both Firefox and Chrome) saying that the counter on the site is wrong and that current estimated unlock date as it continues will be 5 pm gmt-5 tomorrow
