Well, I don't know about you guys, but I can not stand using shitty pencils and pens like normal Bic pencils or wooden pencils.

A long time ago I came across a website that sells pens that are imported from Japan I guess, this is the website if anyone cares.

So, I finally got a little bit of money that I finally decided it was time to purchase some pens from the site, and this is what I got!

If anyone is actually interested in the pens or pencils themselves I would be more then willing to share links.

While those are finely crafted pencils and are worth the build quality, considering they are rather cheap, I can not stand super thin pencils.

Won another 50/50, this time at work.

That's over $300 in winnings this spring so far.

A little late to the pen party but...

I too enjoy writing utensils and have quite a few laying around everywhere. They range from cheap stuff I buy for novel looks or color to a very nice Porsche Design mechanical pencil. As far as everyday usage goes, this one is my favorite yet:

I keep one of these in my pocket.

I'm quite happy with it. Small and smooth when you have it in your pocket, but it has a nice heft and is a good length when you use it to write. Despite the smooth finish, it doesn't get slippery at all due to the machined grip. It has a sleek, classic design and is cheap enough (~$20) that you don't feel horrible if you lose it or if it gets stolen. My only gripes are that the cap isn't perfectly solid when in writing mode and the tip is too big for my taste (medium instead of fine or extra fine).

You know what's funny? I carry a chrome one of those in my pocket, mine has a clip on it though.

I won one of those from LEGO in an Apollo 13 contest when I was little.

And I was about to comment on how silly those are, when I realized what I was going to say was an urban legend.

I've got the mate black one, it stays in my car 24/7 in case I ever need a utensil on the road.

Pen the fucking bomb.

They sell refills on their website, and I believe fine is one of the options.

Got up this morning to see I got an email reply from the letters our Japanese class sent to Japan.
Trying to figure out what to reply with is the hard part since I have to write in half-Japanese/half-english to him/her.

Edit: It's all context. Aw yeah.

Wife and I are officially moved into our house. Made free-range grass fed burgers on my Weber charcoal grill. Just went to Wally world to get stuff to make smores and found 6 packs of Kool-Aid cool bursts. It's been a good day

Masterfully done, both Caff's fail and Rumsfald's joke. Just fantastic all around.
