Oh as another note, rooms will be split evenly amongst everyone staying in them.

Please discuss with whomever you are rooming with on how to compensate them (cash/check/paypal) individually before the con.

We got some stuff for our costumes today...


Maybe we might not have props ready on time, but I'm pleased so far with what I put on. It looks good. Not perfect but good enough (I hope).

But no seriously the problem with bringing a console is you also need to bring a TV to hook it up to, since hotel TVs are locked out...

If I was driving I'd offer to bring my old tube TV, but it takes up a lot weight/space for flying.

You are seeing more and more hotels with accessible input boxes on their TVs.

The Marriott that Luin and I stayed at in Minneapolis had an entire AV box attached: HDMI, VGA, DVI, Component, etc.

It's hit and miss with hotels, the one I was in for Lollapalooza last summer didn't have a tv setup like that.

I just called the hotel and confirmed it's a no-go on trying to hook up an external device to the TVs.

I think my friend has one, any other requests besides Halo? Kinda wish we could all just LAN with laptops to be honest and play tf2.
