What other online communities have you been a part of?

Everyone lurks reddit. 

I've been member to various guild/clan pages throughout the years for various games.  The vast majority of which are dead now, save one, which is one of my WoW Guilds.  So their continued existence is in exchange for their souls.

I collected souls instead of trading hats.

I had a fan club thread that was at 1000 pages when the next largest threads sat at around 100 pages. It was nearing 3000 pages when I decided to close it down.

Achaea forums - Forums for a MUD I used to play a lot.

Destructoid - I don't post much, but I still idle on their IRC channel and attend NARPs in my area. I was also on their MAGFest Gamer Iron Chef team, Team DICKS.

BRBU - Followed along after the split. Internet drama aside, I love you guys.

Unwritten Legends - Another MUD that I more recently used to play a lot. I haven't logged in for probably over three months, but I may pick it up again someday. I just got tired of the character I was playing.

Played KoL for a bit, myself. Got a bit repetitive after ascending a bunch of times, though. Going into a hardcore oxy ascension pretty much killed it, and I was too stubborn to drop it.

clan invincible (i think that was the name) - small sc:bw map-making group, basically died in late 2004

whygame? - cs 1.6 clan/community. was there for years until it became mostly inactive by mid-2007. this is where i met d1str3ss, who you guys know as jorge; he, along with toiletduck, brought me to the destructoid tf2 server...and everyone knows what happens from here.

some cs source clan, i don't remember its name, i joined it basically as it was losing steam and then one of the leaders committed suicide so welp

as chrono put it, "goony goon goon"; joined in...well, actually not sure what year i joined in, as i paid to have my join date set to 9/11/2001 :V but it was 2005 at the earliest
