What I'm referring to is more or less how the mind is such a powerful and beautiful thing, and how tragic it is that it's chained to such a terrible place by physical means.

I think of thought as a maze. You can keep it simple and work your way through it just fine, or you can indulge and really feel out certain thoughts for a long time at the risk of getting lost. Last night I was lost and frustrated.

Fuck Comcast. My cable internet has been out all day.
First call they told me it was the wi-fi.
Second call they told me it was my local computer and put me in the queue for "xfinity signature" home computer support. I don't need geek squad. I build and support my own rigs.
Third call someone said that my traceroute was wrong because their traceroute in the opposite direction was fine. I asked if they could log into my modem and run traceroute to their corporate h.q. Shock, horror, capitulation. I was right after all.

They are opening a major outage ticket just for me. They said it would be done in two hours. I said if they had listened to me two hours ago they would already have it fixed.

Motherfuckers!

I am trying to get this settled in time for the match.

The primary call center for Comcast was here in Winnipeg for years. Luin worked there.
They eventually closed down and moved to some country where labour is dirt cheap.
