It's really more of a remake. It's better but different. Worth seeing both.
After you watch em both, watch em again with director's commentary.

Then see Army of Darkness.

Then play Duke Nukem 3D.

Then play Shadows of the Damned and crack up at the level that is basically a love-note to Evil Dead lol

And yes Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness are great. Both are pretty different from each other, but good in their own right, one being a horror movie and one being more of a fantasy epic.

Tonight I watched Dylan Dog: Dead of Night.  It was alright.  I liked the humor, the setup of how werewolves, zombies, and vampires basically co-exist in the world, but it's a very fine line everyone runs.  A few parts felt kinda out of place, mostly the romance stuff they tried to bring in, though it makes sense more at the end, but still feels kinda like they shoved it in there.

Have you read the comic? I'm interested to see how much they followed it. I really like the Noir/Camp of the comics and I was really hoping for that in the movie. I haven't seen it yet.

Car is easily one of Pixars worst films I think and seeing that all of the tv spots seem to focus on Larry the Cable Guys character, showed that this would probably be worse :\

If there was ever to be a sequel made by Pixar, I'd want to see The Incredibles 2.

It's the first pixar film to get largely negative review.

It breaks their 15-year winning streak.

I guess it had to happen eventually.  I mean, this is one movie out of...10? I forget exactly how many, but no one is that consistent, so they've been really lucky.  It'll still sell well with kids, but it's obvious that their best movies are the ones that can appeal to the family as a whole.
