This isn't a fuck my life post. But someone's life sucks tonight. A friend of mine just texted me and said that while he was driving home from work he witnessed some guy in a rusted out oldsmobile rear end a Ferarri F430. So to the random hillbilly in a rusty olds: fuck YOUR life.

Guy down the street from me was found dead in his garage.  My neighbor found him just slumped in his chair.  His life got fucked :\

Technology has not been happy with me. Both my new monitor and 56" HDTV died, as well with our old iMac. All when my parents are away, so I don't have the money to send them in to get repaired.

Also my dog is driving me insane.

Electrical storm (errrr, it's Arizona) or other power fluctuations?
It sounds kinda weird that a number of devices all die at the same time.

They didn't. The iMac died on monday, my monitor had a dead pixel on arrival, and the HDTV stopped turning on yesterday. All coincidence really.

I did get an RMA on the monitor, thankfully. No idea when the replacement will get here though, UPS said it wouldn't even get back to the company until Monday.

The TV and the iMac though? Way past their warranties. It's gonna cost money to fix both of them.

My previous monitor had a vertical line of dead pixels. Shortly after, it died. I didn't have a warranty.

I upgraded to this one (23 inch to a 24 inch 'widescreen) and got a warranty on it.

I lerv this thing (the one we watched mst3k on at ACen, for those who remember were drunk)

Double post for an actual first world fml

I'm dangerously bored. I want to go drive around or something but I don't want to waste gas.

It's not that I didn't do anything today, I did more than most days in fact. Picked up my bass for the sole purpose of noodling around and learning/relearning some stuff for the first time in weeks, maybe months (I'm not counting actual band practice/shows because that's more like a job, but one that I love).

Everything is so stale. I need a job. Something to give me both responsibility and a way to afford my recreational vices.

Guess I'll conclude the day by taking enough melatonin tabs to make me dizzy.

Don't think it belongs here, but I'll post anyway.

So I went to a club in Europe last night with my younger brother and my cousins and their friends. Part of me is bummed at opportunities that were missed for various reasons. But I also feel disgusted at people and disgusted at myself for regarding those opportunities something that was missed. Feeling boxed in mentally, and to a degree, physically.

....Blegh.

Got diagnosed with a rare, non contagious skin disease this past week.

I kind of freaked myself out about it and then let it go, but then read a ton about it before going to bed two nights ago and now can't stop thinking about it. There's no cure and it could get pretty horrific and painful. I hope we caught it early enough and are able to manage it. There's no real way to know.

I keep dealing with it and then losing it, and then dealing with it and losing it again.

Thus far it is not too bad for me and only under my arms.  Hopefully it won't get worse.

Jesus I'd rather look at pics of a elephantiasis penis all day than that.

Do you have any idea how long you've had it thus far?

I really hope you did catch it soon enough to manage it, from what I've now read I hope you're able to hammer it with antibiotics and shove it into remission.

I am not very far along with it yet. I had a few bumps that progressed into lesions but that is it so far. I just got antibiotics this week and some cream of some kind sonwe will see.
I am also worried about the piles themselves, they are said not to be too gentle, especially to women.

Best of luck with that situation, I hope you got it early on enough.

Been sick with a sore throat for like the last three or four days. Friend says to drink warm lemon water. I buy some of that real lemon juice stuff, add about a third of the bottle to the glass of warm water I had prepared. After I slug it down, I run to the bathroom and cough up quite a bit of phlegm, looks like it did the job, cool.

Cool until I start coughing up bloody phlegm anyway.

Reread some emails in the hopes of gaining some new perspective.

Bad idea.
