What is the best pizza? Doesn't matter how many toppings. Can include variations on crust and styles of pizza.

Barbeque chicken pizzas are pretty fucking good if made right. The ones with tomato and mozzarella ("margherita"?) are amazing too. Fuck pepperoni, it's overdone, doesn't taste very good, and often has the consistency of roof shingles.

Would you rather be able to cook like a Michelin-ranked chef or play a musical instrument like a world-renowned perfomer?

To: Anyone (aka: Open Mic question)

What is the most delicious pork based product, disregarding bacon?
Porkchops probably. Ham is good too, but it can be done poorly.

Sausages.

Why do we execute people to teach them that murder is wrong?
[/quote]

Because killing =/= murder. While the end result is the same, the reasons are different.

I'd move to the Czech Republic. Close enough to a western nation, plenty of beer, and one of the very few countries outside of the United States that recognizes it's citizens right to carry firearms.

Complete thread derailment but I found this episode of Team Sanchez to be pretty entertaining. If you like Jackass-esque antics and british accents then have a look.

Also singapore would be nice to live in since erryone there speaks english. I would never long to live anywhere else for its food.

Yes, very yes. I'd probably be content with anywhere in Europe but I'd love to move back to Germany. Primarily Stuttgart or Füssen.

Gluten free thin-crust, bacon, chicken, salami, pepperoni, garlic cloves and spicy olive oil.

Seeing as I plan to go into music I'd love to have the musical prowess of Pat Metheney or Kurt Rosenwinkel.

Quote:Hmm, a question...    What do you think is the most important quality in your partner/ideal partner?
A sense of humor. It'll get you far in a relationship, and for good reason. It ties people together.

Quote:My question to brbu: Do you think our modern society is fabricated to keep us from realizing some sort of mechanic or function we are serving? [/conspiracies]
Alternatively: Are we alone in this universe as far as sentient life?

Aliens=Yes. There's too much outside of our knowledge of the universe to say no with sincerity.

As for a larger picture theory, my inner Shadowrun and Deus Ex nerd wants it madly, but I doubt it, the amount of people needed to keep that hush and away from any form of public intervention is nearly impossible in this day and age.

Quote:Why do we execute people to teach them that murder is wrong?
Because sometimes people don't learn from being put in prison or rehabilitated, frankly, some scum don't even deserve the kindness of lethal injection.

Thin crust sausage and pepperoni pizza with extra cheese on a wheat crust. It's AWWWWITE.

Quote:If you could move out of the United states, would you? Where to?

I'd move to Scotland, attractive women, and it'd be neat going to one of the places my family originated from.

God, that's a lot of questions.

Mine: If you knew the world would end tomorrow, what would you do the night before?

I need to eat 3 times a day, so being able to be a god tier cook would be awesome for me in addition to cooking for foxy ladies.

New Haven style pizza.  For deep-dish, chicago style. Mozzarella, chicken, and some red/green peppers.

Cook, music is nice, but being able to cook is a valuable skill.

What is your favorite food?

I've taken a liking to Japanese and Thai cooking, but homemade beanless chili has to be my favorite.

I feel selfish admitting it but although I know it to be an important matter I never have really thought twice about the whole war or the country it is in, the only thing I really have thought more then once or so about is the idea that we invaded for nothing but oil and bullshit reasons. All respect to you and people fighting out there but I just have one of those "Fuck the gov" sets of mind, even when I know there is worse out there.

Edit: Please do not make a shitstorm over this, I know my views on this are flawed to alot of people and for valid reasons.

I'd be interested in your take on the war and the occupation you're currently in crow.

In a humanitarian view, I think we're needed there to help improve quality of life. As an American I consider it an important thing to reach out to the needy and help them get their feet, show the world that we're the good guys, or at least we try to be.
On the other hand, I honestly don't see the need for occupation anymore, and believe we should redirect more our attention to other countries that need us instead. Besides, odds are they'll just enter another petty war with a neighboring country soon enough.

I do. I think we've completed our mission there. Bin Laden is fish food. Pack up and bring everybody home. Maybe drop a JDAM on the Pakistani ISI building on the way out.

I do, but we made a huge mistake in shifting resources to Iraq, hindsight is always 20/20 and if we hadn't invaded Iraq I can guarantee there'd be some kind of arab-spring uprising going on there.

If you took even 25% of the resources we used in Iraq and used them in Afghanistan it would be a much safer and better place today. At this point though, we have to figure a way out. A 1 - 2 year timetable to get out is perfectly acceptable, if Hamid Karzai (sp?) wants us to stay, he can start footing the bill.

The longer we stay the more money/lives we waste, and the more we continue to destabilize Pakistan as well. And that's an entirely different can of worms, they've courted insurgents to fight against India for so long they can't really get away from it.

tl;dr - We got the SOB, and done as much as we could to stabilize the country given the resources allocation decisions we made, begin leaving on a 1 - 2 year time table.

We aren't trying to teach them that murder is wrong. They are being killed for 3 reasons.
Retribution: This is the belief that crimes can only be wiped out with a punishment of equal magnitude. The idea is that it balances out the evils of society. They are punished because they deserve it and in doing so we tip the scales back to neutral.
Incapacitation: In this case they can never commit any more crimes because they don't exist anymore. But this is also the main purpose of jail. We assume these people are unfit to participate in society and therefore remove them.
Deterrence: The idea that other people will know of their execution and therefore decide not to do the same crime. This is kind of a bullshit reason though because in many cases it's been shown not to be a deterrence. Also the executions aren't really public. Also it assumes rational actors that weigh the pros and cons of their actions.
