First one from what I saw actually had some pretty good MP. Shame I only started to get into it when it was already dying.

BF3 Early Start Beta is now a go.  If you've pre-ordered, possibly were in the Alpha (I'm not sure on this), or got Medal of Honor Limited Edition early on, you should have a code in your email to get in.  For everyone else, it's Thursday you can get on.

Tried to contact EA chat support.  Stuck in a queue (with a countdown) for like an hour.  When I was finally first in line it told me there were no advisors available to chat with me. WTF was the point of the queue?!!!

Don't use matchmaking.  Earlier today it was taken down to be fixed.  Just use the server browser to find yourself a server.

Oh that's handy.  Today has been good for the Beta to me.  They seemed to have fixed the server connection issues, so no longer losing XP/Unlocks or having to quit the game to save, so I've been getting alot more fulfilling action in.  My current favorite weapons are the shotgun or scope-less sniper rifles.

I got the xbox version (not a console fan) and I was more entertained by people's crying in game than actually playing it.

Yeah it's great when people complain about how bad the game is, when they continue to play more and more and they've only participated on one map, in one game mode, during the Beta.  When the game goes right, it plays damn well.  It's super satisfying going on shotgun runs, now that they are far more useful.

Heard a few mixed things about the beta, but I'm still lookin forward to playin it tomarrow. Seems the beta should unlock at 8am cst tomorrow morning.

Personally I'm enjoying the crap out of the game. I love how much there is to unlock, as every primary weapon has a set of unlocks, within the class that has unlocks, within your rank/level that has unlocks.  I can see now what they mean about how long it would take to get everything.  Sure the game is buggy, but I can put up with bugs pretty easily, especially when it's just the beta. 

Too many people I've seen playing seem to equate this to be a demo rather than a Beta and think the final game will be like this, despite that everything hasn't been added in yet like COMROSE, squad bonuses, a few gadgets/weapons, and that this is a map without vehicles, which is not indicative of the final release at all.
