Was supposed to go with my girlfriend up to NY for a wedding this weekend. Instead, I get an innocent little email this morning saying that an install I was expecting to happen in Ohio on 10/21-10/24 is happening 10/14-10/17 instead. The thing that really gets me about this kind of shit isn't that it happens, its that it happens and then NOONE TALKS TO ME about it. They check their schedules, make promises to the company, then send me a notification email after the fact like its a goddamn afterthought.

My trip to Ohio got moved up to this weekend, and I'm busy (going to NY for a wedding) so I'm not going.

Since I'm not going to Ohio next weekend, one of the other engineering managers wants me to go back to Wisconsin again. I don't really have a choice in the matter. Mother fuckers.

Also, the owner of the company in the Dominican Republic died (had a heart attack last week), so that project got cancelled. Not going to get to spend some Quality Time in the Caribbean in January D:
