Yeah I've heard a few different people say it's overly complicated and just a terrible thing, but I don't see it at all.  It's extremely simple to use and very quick to do things.  An ingame browser wouldn't have hurt, but I have very few problems with Battlelog that aren't just performance issues that could be fixed, like friend requests not showing up right away and all that. The social aspect doesn't really interest me too much, but it's kinda cool to see where your buddies are at and what they are unlocking.  I know that Destructoid actually gave the game a lower score because it used Battlelog and them saying how horrible it was, but then again, Jim Sterling is a dumbass and was saying that the vehicles in the game were a negative aspect, so...yeah...

I would like to know these settings cause I'm getting bum-fucked.

Whether or not it's redeemable on steam is by concern. It would make sense though and definitely be in their best interest to do this. They already sold the bulk of BF3 through their own site, meaning they get the full profit. Now they can just put the game on steam to appeal to a wider audience (those who didn't want to buy the game purely because of origin).

It'd be nice if I didn't have to do that whole "launch origin via steam" trick to get bf3 to run with the overlay though.

It's nice to take a break from vehicles from time to time and I don't care what anybody says.  That board will level you faster than any if you can get past the first 2 objectives and know how to kill stuff.    Screw the objectives,  get kills.  ;D

Not only is Back to Karkand bringing a couple new vehicles, new weapons, ingame challenges, and larger destruction, but they are also bringing back the Conquest Assault gamemode

It's generally Conquest, but instead of two bases and flags to take in between, one team gets just a base that can't be taken and the other team gets all of the conquest points, but if the other team takes all those points, it ends the game cause the team can't respawn at all.

I mostly just play with a group of friends or if I am playing alone, it's listening to podcast, but yeah I play it a few times a week. While the update didn't fix or improve everything, I like most of the changes and tweaks it brought.  Foregrip isn't just the best attachment anymore and certain guns might be better with different attachments based on the gun you want to use.  They expanded the commo rose abit, but really, I don't use it.  I rarely used it in BF2, so I could really care less lol Horns on jeeps rule.  Map detail is nice...Being able to make more squads is great also.

Only thing I need them to fix, would be the endless loading loop.  It goes to a black screen, says loading, but just keeps loading and doesn't really go anywhere, so I just have to quickly close the game and rejoin the server.  Very annoying when it happens like every other map load.
