As mentioned here, I made my best batch of broccoli beef ever last night. It was a new recipe, so it took about an hour to make. Big differences were that it required a lot more ingredients for a marinade and a lot more broccoli. but oh god, was it worth it.

The recipe, if you want to try it.

Step 1: Get Glass
Step 2: Acquire Orange Juice
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

Why cheat? It's easy as hell to make:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

do you like fatback, 80% fat, 50% fat, or 25% fat bacon? I'm just talking about eyeballing it here. I like 50/50 but I just got some approx. 80% fat bacon and fried it extra crispy to the point where it's a little bit black. also like my bacon extra crispy, always.

The perfect bacon is the one that's burnt.

put burnt bacon on a sandwich with cheese, and it's like your tastebuds have taken your brain hostage.

everyone needs to go make a grilled cheese with an ample cover of crumbled burnt bacon. I will now be making this sandwich often.

I've never figured why hot dogs and mac and cheese go well together or who decided to put them together in the first place, but either way it's awesome. That's my childhood right there.

Now here's the weird part- I love ketchup, tomato sauce, marinara, and other stuff like that, but tomatoes I find repulsive. I think it's the texture.

I like cooked tomatoes, but I don't like fresh ones.

Also, totally had Hotdogs & Velveeta Shells & Cheese last night. Except I did it high class with Angus Ball Park Franks and New England style buns, bitches.
