Possibly, 3D that doesn't 'suck' ?

I generally have respect for Peter Jackson and his creative decisions.
I guess we will see.
For the most part, movies natively shot in 3D are good. The bad ones are the ones that aren't.

So far, the only movies I've seen with good 3D are animated, especially Dreamworks' movies. I don't think I've seen a live-action one with anything notable.
Avatar had bitchin' 3D. Though to be fair, most of that was animated.

I really wish I had gone to see final destination in 3D. Those movies are a guilty kitsch pleasure for me.
Yeah, but it's still some of the best animation in a movie ever. Really excited for Avatar 2. Unfortunately, we have Avatar to blame for the post-production 3D.

Not only do you get to see a lot of behind-the-scenes footage, but that's a pretty in-depth look into HOW they are shooting it too.  I'm really curious to see how the resolution and frame-rate changes turn out.

The 3D concept art segment was awesome. I'm so impressed right now.

One concern? That's a looooooooot of green screen.

Keep in mind that this is only the sound-stage production. They have not started on-location yet.
I too was concerned about the green screen, but then the reasoning was later revealed.

Saw Speed, pretty dumb plot, but the action was high-octane enough to satisfy my action craving. Also, Dennis Hopper was great in it.

Speed is the best action movie ever. Wait, no, Speed 2 is better. It's the same but on a boat

Read 1 and 2 so far. Excited for the movie. Looks like they're actually sticking to the book.
I know I've read the first two, but I don't remember if I've read the third. I keep getting it mixed up with the second Maze Runner book (Scorch Trials), which I have sitting on my shelf at the moment. Hard to tell from the trailer, but it looks like they did a decent job.

Been so pumped for this once I heard Kevin McKidd is involved.

Well so much more pumped, it IS Pixar after all.

Akira the movie is awesome.
Until you read the six graphic novels, each the size of a phone book, that were crunched up into 2 hours of screen time. There are whole worlds, whole characters, that just get 30 seconds of screen time.
