Yeah, this game is just magical. Heading to the 5th dungeon now, I haven't been able to stop playing. I don't even want to leave the house to go pick up my copy of Super Mario 3D Land.

All in all it's a very poor demo compared to the full product. More companies need to release demos like the Darksiders or Crackdown demo. Give you full access to the game, but only let you play for an hour. Don't pick and choose areas you might think are cool to show the player, show them what your games are like actually. Oh yeah, there's a great joke in this game regarding Gaepora. In the final stretch of the game, you can make things show up that tell you general information about the area you're in. In one area, the thing asks you if you'd like it to repeat what it just said. It replies by saying "Rumor has it you're some kind of genius who memorizes everything the first time you hear it." That might not be the exact wording, but it's pretty much what it says. |

How good are the controls? I'm someone that kinda hates motion controls, find them to be a pretty stupid gimmick, but because it was Zelda, it was going to pull me in. Not sure I could ask if it compares to Twilight Princess, since the motion controls were pretty tacked on for that game and wasn't super great. I want to see if I can rent the game, but does it require the motion plus attachment?

If you have a homebrewed Wii and run it through a loader, you can enable a cheat that disables Motion+, but uh, you can pretty much only do a thrust attack and walk around. This game is the definition of motion controls. If you played Wii Sports Resort at all, Wii Sports Resort was basically a tech demo for Skyward Sword. |

I was planning on ordering from amazon, but they actually ran out of pre-orders. Had to order mine at gamestop, picking up first thing tomorrow morning.

Wow this game is some great story telling. The end of the second dungeon really did make me feel a little shitty inside.
