Today I woke up for my 8am statistics final feeling confident as I had studied a lot for it the previous night and we were allowed a page of notes on the exam. I used the 3 midterms from the semester to study and compile notes but despite every midterm problem having 2 explanatory variables the majority of problems on the final had 3+ and I was clueless.

Throughout the week I had been attempting to buy greyhound tickets home for winter break but every time I tried it told me something went wrong and it said I should contact my credit card provider to confirm the information. I know the information is correct because it works on every other site, I have money in my account, and I tried multiple cards. I figured this was just a problem with their systems so I waited to purchase my tickets because it still showed about 10 different buses with available seats. When I go downtown later in the week after continued failure to buy tickets in person I discover that the tickets I was trying to buy were all booked and the only bus available was 9:50 pm with a 2 hour layover in maryland before leaving for philly (home) and it costed +$130 despite the website giving false estimates of 70 some dollars. What I've inferred from this is that instead of taking down booked buses on their website greyhound just leaves them up and tells you you're credit card information is wrong.

I like to pride myself on being in control of my emotions. Obviously I'm still sad or angry from time to time like anybody but I've always been able to essentially reason out my feelings and feel better rather quickly. I like to think of it as my own form of meditation. Yet, having this day and then having my dad call me "fucking irresponsible" over the phone for the greyhound situation I just can't.
