Arkham City is awesome if you don't encounter technical problems, unfortunately myself and others have encountered these problems.

I have. It's great. Don't know about how active multiplayer is, but it's best described as a cross between Tower Defense, TF2, and some Dota.

Arkham City, Sherlock Holmes, and Payday are on sale, can I get the word on some of them? Is the DRM worth the hassle on Arkham City? Is Sherlock Holmes a good detective game? Is Payday fun?

I got Payday a couple months ago in a 4-pack.  I've played a handful of missions, co-oping with friends.  We had a lot of technical issues, with 3 of 4 of us each getting disconnecting/crashing at least twice in one night.  I was having an issue where my game would crash if I held down my push-to-talk key too long.  Fixed that by playing in windowed mode.  Controls are a bit looser than I'd like in a shooter, and aiming is difficult with a clunky iron-sights aiming-mode.  That being said, it's still an enjoyable co-op experience with potential.  Some cool gameplay not seen in L4D.
