I'm bored, Sogo insisted I do this anyway so here's the plan:

Give me a historical event and 4 games and I'll destroy history as best I can and narrate it in the style of a senile old man.
(For the love of all things good please try to pick a game with a story, I'm getting headaches trying to work with the first one...)

Any takers?

[/quote]Here, I'll do it.

The year is 1936.  The location: Moscow.  "Now wait a minute" I already hear you lot clamoring, "the 1936 Olympics were held in Berlin, not Moscow."  That is correct, if we were still playing out last game.  However, this game things went a little differently.  The German empire was actually blitzed by Montezuma in the early medieval period.  However, this early military build up on Montezuma's part gave Stalin the buffer he needed to blitz to Mass Media and begin his final push towards a Cultural victory.  The culmination of which is this: the 1936 Summer Olympics.  For the last week or so it has been the honor of the Russian's up against the honor of the Aztecs, and both sides prove strong.  Neck and neck, both sides have accumulated the exact same number of gold, silver, and bronze medals.  There is only one event left to prove which Civilization is truly the best.  Ice Hockey.  Now you may be thinking that just because it's summer, Ice Hockey shouldn't be played, but this is Moscow and the world plays by Russia's rules (no items, fox only, final destination).  The people in the stands are sweating bullets, but the coach of the Russian team isn't worried at all.  He has a secret weapon.  A boy by the name of Tim Azarov.  He is the goalie, and an impenetrable wall.  Nothing gets past him.  Because, unbeknownst to even the coach, Tim has the power to control time.  As such no puck can get past him, and the resulting game ended in a 5-0 victory in Russia's favor.  With the Olympics in the bag, the Russians ended their turn and achieved a cultural victory, just a few turns before the Aztecs were ready to declare World War II and blitz the land.
