Here is the server information for Mod-Mondays and Murder Mystery Mondays
IP: Port - 74.91.113.123:27030 Password - littlecart Due to confusion and annoyances, all voice chat will be done via Mumble, if you need to speak to "your team only" within a mod or game, you will use in-game, no server will be set to alltalk. Caffeine has administrative access over the server and rcon access. If I'm not available he's the goto. Playlist
So here are the list of additional options for Mod-Mondays
A side note the server will be up and running this mod as of SUNDAY NIGHT assuming whichever mod wins. That means voting ends on SUNDAY NIGHT. Caff it would be helpful to get this advertised elsewhere other than the forums too (news post or even in-server text ads?)

I don't have gMod, and don't have any desire to get it, guess I'm sitting out this monday too.
Here's why I don't have it and don't want it: Garry's Mod is Half-Life 2 Source SDK (maybe it's been updated recently to episode 2 I don't know don't care), then lets slap in a LUA interpreter, now lets call it a game. 1: The interpreter isn't implemented very well in my opinion, it also allows this LUA to run on both the client AND the server, which is dangerous with any kind of scripting or coding language, I don't want to install this security risk and poorly coded "game" but hey that's just me. Mod list for votes has been updated.

Technically once the server is up until it gets taken down, and the server for The Ship was up until today when I started configuring this damned elevator: Source. though your time slot is pretty much the "mod monday" time slot
Note: I have the files all installed and it's ready to run, guess what... it just doesn't. Seriously it won't run, it gives me a fun little error; "Can not allocate server ip port" I have JFGI'd it and the only fix I found doesn't apply to servers (though I tried it anyway), and yes the ports are open (I don't run a firewall and the only port that is locked down on VPS's or Dedicated Servers where I host from are mail ports for the first 4 days to prevent spam setups) The server may not agree with the votes; but I will continue to try... and yeah... I shelled out the $9.99 to try and make this work... so screw you all. Yup, garry's mod sticks to it's guns in sucking to me. |

I'm sure you'll all be happy to know, I got the damn server running, now just to figure out how to launch Elevator: Source
it may need to be launched manually so I'll be going in game later tonight or tomorrow to find out how to do it >.< |

Basically after each mod is played on this list here's what will happen, that mod will be removed from the list that can be voted for and votes will be reset. This will be the same post you will ALWAYS come to for mod monday votes. As I stated before once the "Last mod" is on the list that will be the mod for the last week, once that that week is done we do a week with The Ship, then start from the beginning. It will stay in the cycle in which applies from this very first vote indefinitely until another mod comes out. Or if a mod totally sucks and we want to pull it or there is no reason to support it for mod mondays (NeoForts vs. SourceForts may be this, this may be, for the first pass through assuming I am correct, SourceForts twice, and NeoForts removed, but we'll see). |
