I really hope that's true. I wasn't sure if it would be possible from Valve's end to ascertain how the acheivements were unlocked or if they would care.

I'm glad people can recognize that class balance makes for good games, but let's not cross the line of telling people how to play the game; that's the failboat cruise that sinks.

I'm kind of in the middle. I wouldn't want to see people get booted, but if we have too many medics (or any class) and most of them suck I won't feel bad about yelling at them to pick up their game (I will try to give them tips if I see something they can improve of course) or change classes. Always have done it and don't see changing things now.

It sounds like some people's lists are now borked and they can't get them again, which is a bummer. Hopefully that'll get resolved soon. Still though, all this fuss over one evening of gaming? Most of the ones I've gotten could easily be gotten again, and I'd like to hope I'd only be a little annoyed if my list was cleared.

I want to play with new guns, but I don't want to be forced to grind as if it's an MMO to do something. Wasting my life healing someone in a game who I don't know doesn't interest me - I'd rather go do something that counts (Like play CSS )

Instead of doing what a TF2 Medic is supposed to do (heal people), he'd rather do something important like play CounterStrike. No insult meant to CSS, but the hypocrisy is delicious. ^_^

Hey, I'm a heavy player. That means I don't care what a medic has. If a medic wants to assault me with his blutsauger I'll let him, thats him not healing and me crushing his tiny life bar.

If you wanna spend your time to unlock these items and then never play medic again.

Amen to that. Medic is the job that I've always managed to rack up the most points with, since day one.

However, I must say that all of the medic-whoring lately has made me branch out a bit. Guess I'll take the good with the bad, until I can go back to Medic and rock again.

True, Surf. I had played other classes (in face, Soldier is my most played), but Medic was always my forte.

However, I've been trying Demo and Pyro for the first time since the patch came out. So it's all good for now.

Hopefully tonights epic farming will quell people's undeniable thirst for new content and achievements.  Having picked up all the ones i didn't want to wait around and luck into, and just have the ones that'll come in natural game play, medic returns to its normal rotation.
