Bumping this on sunday because.
I learned that the land of Ooo, adventure time's setting, is the earth after an apocalyptic war. http://adventuretime.wikia.com/wiki/Mushroom_War

I sort of had a hunch that Ooo was a post-world war kind of place. In one episode Jake says "Rocket ships haven't been re-invented yet.", so i assumed there had been some sort of apocalypse type event that wiped out everything. |

I learned that 9kb of lightwarps to soften the shadows makes TF2 WAAAAAY more cinematic and pretty. My screenshot key is going to wear down at this rate.

While they look nicer than the stock shading system, the stock shading system does look slightly shittie for a reason; players do not blend into dark areas and even if there's a dark-to-black area behind them with minimal area lighting on the player, you can still clearly see their outline. With these shaders they'll readily blend into darker areas of the map, I'll demonstrate next time I see you in the server by killing you over and over as scoot from dark areas of the map because you didn't see me as you ran by. |

Patent wars are stupid. I honestly don't know if you can create a new company anymore in certain industries without it getting sued out of existence.
Edit: Also on Monday Apple v. Samsung is starting, it could be an extremely important case for a variety of reasons.

change facilitates necessity
