That's why I'm playing Aion, NCSoft is pretty awesome in general. I think I remember the e-mail, but since it's an old ISP e-mail that's no longer active, I couldn't get the password.

Just redownloaded Aion last night. Played on the EU servers for a bit, but their version of F2P got pretty annoying. The 300+ms ping didn't help either. Gunna start up a new character when I get home.

The third picture talks about Zhaitan (the boss of the final dungeon.)

He is a dragon, made out of... dragons. Apparently Xzibit did some consulting work.

The Shatterer is a lieutenant of Zhaitan (the purple lightning dragon) and then there's the Undead Dragon Telquatl who is also a lieutenant of his. The big dragon you'll be fighting is the one I posted concept art of. He'll be the boss of the final dungeon in the game. Kralkatorrik (the one you posted a picture of) is currently lying dormant.

For most games it's considered to be incredibly rude to reveal the final boss before the game is even out.  Why is GW2 supposed to be different?

Cuz it's an mmo, it's not like it was a big surprise you had to kill Arthas in Wrath of the Lich King

The thing is the only thing we know is he's there, they set up the Elder Dragons to be the big bad in the original Guild Wars. We have no idea what the fight will be like or what he'll even look like in-game, other than they'll try to make him look as close as possible to the concept art.

Another thing is the developers have been very transparent about things. They announced it in 2007. They showed a trailer for the first time in 2009 which showed some animated concept art and a quick flythrough of some of the world and the capital cities. They immediately brought a demo next year where you could play as a low level human, experience some of the personal story and dynamic events and then also had a demo where you could play as a level 47 Charr and experience high level skills as well as a fight against The Shatterer. (Which was the first time we also saw him) It also has the Public Quest system from Warhammer Online, except the entire game is designed around this system instead of just having it be there alongside the traditional questing system. There is no gear grind. No holy trinity.

Totalhalibut (Commonly known as Totalbiscuit) and Yogscast both have a good deal of videos actually showing what the gameplay is like, from level 1 to about level 10 or 15 or so, they also both have videos of PVP and WvW, as well as the one dungeon available during the beta.

Gamestop says June 26th, but I don't believe an official one was announced, or did I just miss it somewhere? I hope that's the date, cause it means that it is playable the day after I get back from being gone on a month and a half trip.

Nothing official has been announced yet. All that's known is they're having a beta event weekend once a month until the game launches. First beta weekend will be either this next weekend or the last weekend of this month. Since they said "once a month", it's assumed more than 2 months away, but they did say early summer-ish.
