Alright, I just got back from shopping and I will be bringing a 6pk of Capital Brewery Capital Dark and a New Glarus Belgian Red. I would have also bought some Bicardi Gold and another 6pk of Capital Brewery Maibock if not for the lack of space in my bags :'(

Other items include: jar of pickles, solo cups
Also Caff, I will be bringing my sleeping bag instead.

Otherwise we'll probably head to Pizzano's. On that note, let me know if you're interested in going, currently there are about 6 of us going? Reservations will be for about 8cst, since we'll be leaving when Liquid arrives (presumably at 7cst) and will need to take the Blue line into downtown. We'll probably check out Millennium park right afterwards before heading back, and should be back for the room party (estimate arriving back at 10:00 or 10:30cst)

14-15 hours, I'll probably be leaving 10p Wed and getting in mid-day Thurs. That'll put me driving around Indianapolis starting around 9am, and get me into Chicago before 2p, when traffic starts picking up again. Not sure about taking the Skyway, but I'll have my toll transponder with me so I'll play that one by ear. Pickup #3 won't happen until the evening, though, so I'll have to make sure I've got in/out access at the Hotel.

Assuming I have my room at that point, I've got no problems. Failing that, you should be able to ask at the hotel front desk and make use of the bag room. Occasions such as this are what that's for.

I've been talking to people about going to Hot Dougs for lunch on Saturday. It's a hot dog joint about 15 minutes from the hotel. I'd say we just grab the food and go back to the hotel because there will be a line.

So since we're going to have a much larger crowd this year I figured we could do with a way to easily contact one another. The group I go to MAGFest with uses GroupMe which I think works pretty well. It works similar to a list serv except you can send and receive messages either via SMS, email, or their app if you have a smartphone. How it works is someone sets up a group that is linked with a phone number. The group creator then can add members via a phone number or email address along with a nickname. When a member sends a message to the group it will relay the message to the rest of the subscribers, but phone numbers and email addresses are kept private and only the nickname shows up on the message. Subscribers can also mute the group at any time if you're getting spammed too often.

Mostly I see this as a way to see what other people are doing if you get separated. I have already created a BRBU group. If you want to be added, PM your email address or phone number along with nickname if you don't want your forum name to be used and I will add you. I promise any info I receive will be kept private. Feel free to hit up the site for more info.

We figured since I'm flying out all the way from Oregon and that I'd never been to Chicago before we'd hit downtown for some deep dish and a tiny bit of sight seeing.

Also less than 48 hours for me :o
