So since we're going to have a much larger crowd this year I figured we could do with a way to easily contact one another. The group I go to MAGFest with uses GroupMe which I think works pretty well. It works similar to a list serv except you can send and receive messages either via SMS, email, or their app if you have a smartphone. How it works is someone sets up a group that is linked with a phone number. The group creator then can add members via a phone number or email address along with a nickname. When a member sends a message to the group it will relay the message to the rest of the subscribers, but phone numbers and email addresses are kept private and only the nickname shows up on the message. Subscribers can also mute the group at any time if you're getting spammed too often.

Mostly I see this as a way to see what other people are doing if you get separated. I have already created a BRBU group. If you want to be added, PM your email address or phone number along with nickname if you don't want your forum name to be used and I will add you. I promise any info I receive will be kept private. Feel free to hit up the site for more info.

This seems like a good idea but it would only really work if we got everyone in there, or if everyone knew who was in the group. What do you guys think?

Battle damage to medipack 60% repaired. Found some dark metallic spray paint that was perfect for covering the chips in the finish, and I've got a new pistol belt & harness. Will be fabricating pouches to weight the belt down, and an attachment mechanism for the bag -> harness tonight. Also need to reattach the bottle.

1 Bomber of "The Auroch's Horn" ...not sure wtf it is to be precise.  Crazy local.  Made by a guy on a farm here.  Though he trained with the brewmasters for Goose Island and Summit.  It's basically a honey brewed strong golden ale.  Either way it's fuckwin.
