West Virginia fits no accepted definition of East Cost. That's like saying Utah is West Coast.

I've had this conversation people before, it's god damn hopeless.

I refuse to lose hope that I can broaden the usage of Pennsyltucky.

Being born in Kentucky, raised around philly, and a Pitt student, I can attest to the phrase's accuracy. I have friends who live in the region and they have many tales about life in "bumfuck usa". At least PA doesn't have drive-thru liquor stores like Kentucky though, we're still in the clutches of religion-sourced liquor laws.

PA has drive-through stores that will sell you a case of brew, and nothing less than a case of brew. I'm not clear on how you think that's better than having drive-through stores that sell hard liquor.

oh my, this is the first I've heard of it. It's surprising to see this next to PA's stranglehold over alcohol licenses. Hearing that people in other states can buy alcohol in 7-11 type stores shocks people who haven't lived outside the state, including myself.

Our Walmart sells all sorts of alcohol.

failed cell bio.  I scored above average on the last test, but i had failed the first test so hard that I was trying to swim with an anchor around my neck.  I (think?) I almost passed though, but I don't know what the cut-off for pass/fail was.  Class average was a 67.3, I had a 59.8.

I have to retake it next year, which is equal parts annoying, embarrassing, and a waste of time.  I do synthetic biology and evolution in bacteria, but cell biology means "everything except bacteria", ie fungi, plants, animals etc, so i'm really not getting anything at all out of it.

not the end of my career, hopefully it's just a nasty bump in the road.

I'll stop by the prof's office monday morning and see if calm, polite reasoning can change things.

My friend and I were discussing what we would do to pass.  He said he'd blow the prof, and let the TA shit on his chest.  I said I'd strangle two puppies.  Not sure which is worse.

This craft sale is not going well. No advertising, no people, in a neighborhood with huge garage sales. On free stuff day.

I would pack up if I were alone. Someone already did. But only 2.5 more hours... Only one sale. Didn't even cover our table cost.

Nice, I am dying from "Aids" actually. The special kind that isn't an abbreviation so capitalizing each letter isn't necessary. I can't wait to die soon enough from my made up mysterious made up condition or whatever it is you're referring to?
