Skype interview today:

"What's something you really like doing?"

"I really like to blow stuff up.  It's fun.  I don't get to do enough of it in the civilian world" 

LOL.  It was with the people who kept asking for my facebook, not giving a damn about getting the job is certainly helping me in this process.  Totally flew also- face to face interview next week. 

I think you got this job, unless the other guy has a penchant for explosions too  8)

Finally got a new mouse after more than a year of dealing with my failing G5 that shuts off whenever the cable curves the wrong way.  Now I have a shiny new G400.  I feel like a jackass for not doing this much sooner.

80% of part failures on a mouse can be fixed or replaced for under $5 with parts from Frys, for when cleaning doesn't help you.

I do periodic cleaning, but I haven't opened it before. Dunno why I didn't think of this, guess I could give it a try. Is there a way to open a deathadder without breaking it?

Yeah, there are 3 teflon feet on it that cover screws, but I'm not taking those out just yet. I cleaned it up though, under the cover and stuff. and the mouse wheel. gross.

Of course, since I didn't go under the buttons, mouse 5 is still schizo, but I'll deal for now.
