So I'm a lead for some college Ambassador thing and we had orientation today, which I was running. The student adviser person didn't do a good job of making the orientation time clear and put the wrong location in an email as well, so that was a great start having to call people up to bring them in. a third of them didn't show so that will have to be redone.

Me, being naturally awkward and unnaturally thrown off balance by the fuckup, didn't maintain control the way I should have and failed to mention some things I should have and didn't word certain explanations properly. Basically, I gave the wrong impression of the program and missed the nuances that I needed to inject. The emphasis of the program is to teach people the work that happens behind event planning, and not just focus on event planning like every fucking student organization (which we are not). What makes it worse is that the other lead and the student adviser are on the same wavelength and probably prefer things this way.

I need to figure out a way to do damage control after this mess. Fucking hell. I feel stupid.

So yeah, more bad feels and shit on top of the usual bad feels and shit.

-------

I'm not really sure how to get myself out of these pits.

Objectively, everything seems so simple and clear. I can draw connections, make predictions, pick out the important bits. But as soon as things start to involve me, my vision gets blurry and my mind locks up.

And so forth.

Dishwasher broke and I had to buy a new one (that I can't afford), D3 account got hacked, getting sick.

On the plus side (since I always try to stay positive):
-I got a decent deal on a new dishwasher (got a nice one for just a little bit more than the out-the-door price of the cheapest one). Also my grandparents are going to help me out some money wise.
-I remembered I had a lot of gamestop credit so I got Max Payne and GW2 without having to spend a dime
-I dunno if I have a counter to being sick?

Try working out.  Not just cause you get all lean and fit, but physical exercise can help your mood both from the chemicals that show up during physical exertion, but also by allowing yourself to develop confidence and start getting positive attention from other ladies.

I usually jerk off when I feel that way and then I'm fine.

The most general answer is to find something else to occupy your mind and take it off of her. Now whether you do that through using other people, working out, perpetually masturbating, or whatever is up to you... so long as that thing isn't dwelling. Try different coping mechanisms until you find something that works for you and remember that time and distance really do help with these sorts of things.
